Greatest solution for easy web surfing, book reading and gaming. Some expensive (with 3G). Not needed any technical skills for using – great for wife, for children and all, who is not a geek. And – really long battery life.
Life is too full of gadgets, unify where you can. Add an iPad 3G to your life and you can toss the eBook readers, GPS units, and probably an old laptop or two. It's great in the house as an e-mail machine in the kitchen, and it's better in the car, where we might otherwise be arguing about directions. It fits very neatly into basically any portfolio or briefcase.
I have owned a Kindle and a Sony Reader. While I understand the benefits of e-ink, I have to say that they are a bit overstated. Yes, it is nice not to consume so little power and not have to deal with a back-lit screen to some extent. However, unlike my laptop or computer monitor, the iPad screen does not bother my eyes even after prolonged periods of reading. Also, it is terrific to be free from an external lighting source on airplanes or in bed. With the e-ink devices, I often felt that the glare from any of the booklights I tried was distracting and difficult on my eyes. I do not have that problem with the iPad. All of my Kindle books are just as enjoyable on the Kindle for iPad app. It's easy to use and the highlighting and dictionary features are even more useful without having to use the clumsy interface to navigate the Kindle screen.

I originally bought this device for traveling but I find I use the iPad much more than my laptop for everyday tasks like email, web-browsing and games. Given that I travel frequently, this device is a God-send. You don't even have to take it out of your luggage at airport security. I do a lot of word processing for my job and am just now beginning to get all the apps needed, and coordinated, to make the iPad useful for writing and storing documents. That task will not be as efficient as on my laptop, but to be able to write while traveling (without taking my laptop), it will suffice. The biggest downfall is the inability to use flash applications online. There are several business tasks I like to keep up with online while traveling that use flash, and at this point I can't access them. Apple has supposedly reversed their position on flash applications so I am hoping that developers jump on this quickly to make more web-based applications usable on the iPad.

I have a desktop, an older MacBook Pro, and now this newest MacBook Pro. If you are looking for reliability and a virus free experience this is the only way to go. I have had great luck with all of my Apple computers. If you are new to Apple there is a brief learning curve to getting around on the Mac OS, but once you learn it your golden. My wife resisted going to a Mac for many months until I bought mine and showed her how great the experience was for her. She loved her Windows machine and was reluctant to change but I managed to win her over from the "Dark Side" by telling her that if she wanted to she could still run her windows programs on her Mac. She was sold. I set up her Mac with Boot Camp which is free so that if she had some Windows programs she needed to run she could. She loves it. Now if any of her friends are looking for a new computer she steers them to the Mac and tells them that you won't regret it. In fact she tells them "once you go Mac, you never go back". A great computer and a great user experience. The only downside is that they can be a little pricer than the others, but its a tradeoff. Pay me now, or pay me later. Its worth the price in the long run for the better quality computer. I love Macbook 17 Inch 2.8GHZ Core i7 very fast process my work.

If you like the bigger Laptop get Macbook 17inch one but the difference between the i5 and i7 is minimal for the average user. I bought this Mac 17inch 2.8 Ghz. Core i7 as a desktop replacement since I travel a lot. I removed the hard drive and bought an Intel SSD. THIS THING ROCKS. I dual booted to windows for some game and it plays them perfectly. buy this laptop trust me.

To long time in my life I have always been a PC lover, but I love this computer even more! There are no virus downloads that you have to worry with, and I also love the battery life. If you don't use a computer a lot then get a PC. This computer is made for people that use a computer a lot.
I have always used PCs at home and laptops for business. I finally made the switch to Mac Book Pro and I am extremely happy. The MacBook 17inch 2.8Ghz Core i7 out performs and provides the best visual clarity of any computer I have ever used. I doubt I will ever go back to my old PC. There is a learning curve to adjust to the different icons on the Mac but the difference between PCs and Apple is very minor. The Macbook 2.8Ghz is a solid quiet machine with quality as its first name. The only draw back to this machine is keeping it on your lap for any length of time due to its weight and the heat it produces.

Very good case, great protection. It does take a bit of effort to get the charger plugged in while the iPad is in the case.

This iPad Folio Case is of excellent design and is very well made. It is made from Real Leather and not 'pleather' or some imitation, so it feels good and wears well. Most of the other cases used imitation leather and had stretchy straps that covered part of the iPad's screen border area — both of which are undesirable. The flap itself closes very well and does not flap back and fourth. The only small gripe i have is that sometimes i cant tell which side is up because the flap blends in so well. The different viewing angles are a nice touch and the ipad itself fits very snug in the edges. I am not worried that it will fall out at all.
Overall, I am very happy with this iPad case and would recommend it to anyone.

This is a great Apple iPad case. I spent a good amount of time looking at different options and found that the combination of price with the video review on this product sold me. ALl of the other cases I was looking at seemed too big and bulky and had some kind of strap to hold the iPad in and keep the folio closed which is what I didnt like. This case is very sleek and form fitting to the iPad while providing enough protection for my use. What is my use? I only use my iPad in my house as a couch surfing device with the occasional plane flight. This iPad case is more than enough protection to throw into a backpack or a laptop bag and take with you wherever you go though.

After shopping a lot locally and checking all the brands in person, I found this model on Amazon priced several hundred $$ UNDER the the best local price, and free shipping (and no local sales tax).
The TV took about 2 weeks to arrive, it sat in a St Louis warehouse for a week waiting for a truck to head to Columbia. (The delivery service only comes to Columbia once a week.) The delivery service unpacked the unit and checked for DOA, a nice touch!
This LG 42" is AMAZING. I watch broadcast TV and streaming Netflix. The HD1080 broadcasts are so sharp, it just blows me away. I find myself watching stupid TV shows just to admire the HD1080 image quality. The streaming Netflix is in 720p but still very nice. I may upgrade my broadband and ROKU box just to get the HD1080. This unit makes it worth it.
The LG specs are impressive, super fast response, high contrast etc. I am COMPLETELY PLEASED with this unit and cannot understand why others charge so much more for units that do not come close to the picture quality of this set.

It took me about three days to decide to pull the trigger on this TV after looking at written reviews on Amazon and even some video demos online. About four hours after receiving it and I haven't left my room.
This TV is simply lovely so far. The setup was a bit confusing at first and the stand is not the best I've ever seen but the instructions for setting up the stand were adequate and I was able to get the TV up and running in about ten minutes (the first five of which I sat confused).
Really, the negatives on this purchase stopped after the setup and the stand. Besides the stand, this TV is just pretty. One of the first things that stood out to me was the fact that the screen is so sleek and does not reflect any glares at all. Also, I had read about a terrible viewing angle and I honestly watched this TV from the side with no difference in the picture at all. It's so big that it's practically impossible to have a bad seat in the room that you watch this TV.
If you plan on playing video games on this TV, you will not be disappointed in the least. The only issues I've had with the TV is getting my colors juuuust right, although the "Game" picture setting has sufficed very nicely.
The sound on the TV is great. It is centered and doesn't feel empty in the least. It is a very full and rich sound that will work just fine if you don't have an expensive surround sound system.
After paying [...] and receiving free two day shipping, I am literally ecstatic that I was able to nab such a nice TV. After spending the last three years with a 24" Insignia LCD that was 720p, I am ready to lock myself in my room.
We almost took this back however: When we first plugged it in and turned it on, the only picture was a white screen with the Firmware version bouncing around, no menu would come up and it would not acknowledge anything had been connected. Well, we unplugged it again, and turned it back on, and this time, it acknowledged the DVR (input 1) and starting spewing forth video and audio We have had no problems since that.
Don't be alarmed by the 60hz refresh rate, I honestly can't see how 60hz is so inferior to 120. Especially when 120hz is almost 500 dollars more expensive.
Trust me, if you are on the fence about this TV — take the leap. This coming from a 21 year old college student who is now going to be the most popular person on his floor.

First off: We did not purchase this TV from Amazon, we purchased it at a local retail store, not for any other reason than the price (we paid a few hundred less than the current Amazon price)
If you are like me and can't shell out more than 500 dollars for an HD TV, this is the TV you want to pick up right away. I simply cannot find anything that I dislike beyond the stand itself that makes me rate this any less than 5 stars.
My husband and I purchased this back in April, it was either this or the Phillips that they had set right beside it, it was really a hard choice as the Phillips was marked down to just a few hundred dollars, whilst this was just under six fifty. We are so very glad that we went with this model(42LD450). The video quality is quite good, blacks are black, and whites are white, back light is very bright, and video quality is amazing.
My only gripe is that we will have to go out and purchase a new unit for our surround system, as the TV only has a Optical Audio Output. And on that note, the built in speakers are not awesome, yes, they are very usable, but like almost all TV speakers, they are not going to satisfy your need for spectacular surround.
This is definitely worth the buy, I really think you will be happy with your purchase. Thank You For Reading.

After having Makita products in the past, I chose to buy this Milwaukee drill after the Makita Lithium Ion drills had concerns about wobbly chucks and poor batteries. I received the drill and immediately liked it. The weight, size, trigger control, etc. were all fantastic. The best drill I ever handled. So I took my new drill to put up several blinds and thought the new quick change bit set I bought was junk. Everything was wobbling and it was even hard to put in the screws. I went down to the shop and started going through some other bits. Every one of them wobbled. So, I pulled out my old Makita and the wobbling was immediately gone. I was in the middle of a bunch of different projects, so I went to a local store and picked up another Milwaukee. I got it home and the same problem. They both wobble like nothing I've seen before. Beware, others say Makita has wobble problems, but in my case 2 Milwaukee compact drills from two different stores have suffered from wobbly chucks, while I've never seen a Makita with this problem. There's definitely some quality control issues at Milwaukee with these drills.

BUY THIS SET NOW! This Milwaukee drill set is awesome and I have the Makitas too. Not a knock against Makita. Makita success is responsible for the era of micro lithium tools. The last reviewer is not telling you the battery time is great. They are incredible. 92 units of 3 1/2 screws in Trex on one batter.

Great buy on an awesome Milwaukee drill combo kit. I already own a Milwaukee 2601-20 M18 Compact drill and driver. I wanted to get a cordless impact to replace my piece-o-junk Dewalt cordless impact; which I sold to a fellow co-worker because he thinks Dewalt tools are the best thing since sliced bread. Anyway as a Die-Hard Milwaukee fan I was going to get the 18v NiCad version of the Cordless Impact(tool only) to go with my Lok-Tor series cordless hamerdrill/driver. I was in my local Home Depot and I noticed this combo kit for $299. I was hesitant at first because I already had the exact drill but I thought it would not hurt to have 2. After I purchased this kit I had o try it out. The drill was the same as my other one, which is awesome. The impact has to be the best in ts class with 1400 in-lb of torque that beats the Dewalt by 200 in-lbs. I had this drive loosening rusty hardware on an old conduit rack outside, it feels stable in your hands and is so light you can use it overhead for long periods of time. I fastened a shoulder strap to the case nd take the whole kit up extension ladders onto roofs with me, and with the weight of these tools its just like having one NiCad drill with you. A+++ to Milwaukee for designing these 2 great tools.
